Owner and Chef, Wayne Kosten, opened WalkaboutChef Personal Chef Service in the spring of 2000, with a vision of creating Salt Lake Citys best casual dining experience in the comfort of your own home. Trained at The Culinary Institute of Florida, and The International School of Baking in Atlanta, Kosten infuses every dish he creates with his extensive knowledge and passion for perfection. Chef Kosten started his career as a Chef for The Art of Baking Cafe, a well reviewed restaurant/Cafe located in Salt Lake City, UT. working for Several years as a Personal Chef to Actors and Directors at Robert Redfords Sundance Film Festival, his reputation grew as a fine Chef. Once word of his tasty Australian signature dishes got out, offers from many well known restaurants landed on Chef Kosten's plate. Although he had an affinity for the Art of Baking, Chef Kosten knew that greater challenges and opportunities awaited him in the USA. Now back in Australia he awaits new and exciting challenges.
